It's a story in three acts, with action at every turn as the characters struggle to save a fleet of ships under attack by mysterious forces. Lots of you have probably seen Hyperlanes advertised when the Kickstarter ran at the end of last year. Well, they just delivered the Core Rulebook this morning and I'm reading through it now. It's chunky - the pdf is 189 pages! - and has a fair bit of fiction and artwork so far. I'm going to start posting a quick first impression now and edit this as I get further through the document The HYPERLANES Unfolding Starscapes is a guide to blending fantasy with science fiction.Covering conversions, science-fantasy, and middle ground topics like psionics, the supplement is a greatly anticipated addition to the HYPERLANES collection. Just finished thumbing through the PDF. Decent mechanics and a good translation of 5e's core game loop from fantasy to apocalyptic. That being said, I do have some criticisms. 1a. There should be a copy of the character sheet in the book itself. I know you have a free download, but it's not the same. 1b.
